PERSONALITY
I am a cartoonist by nature and have been drawn to art since the early age of 5. Growing up in an ethnically diverse family exposed me to many different cultures, offering me the opportunity to gain interesting perspectives on a variety of things. Humor and creativity drives me to create art that allows my audience to take a look into my imagination and, for a moment, not have a care in the world.
I have used some of my darkest times to help me rise up. Before my Jewish grandmother passed away in 2010, I promised her I would get artwork in a gallery in NYC. In 2016, I illustrated a humorous Yiddische Yoga book which we managed to get into the National Jewish Museum bookstore in NYC. My promise to grandma was kept.
In 2014, I was commissioned to design an award for HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm’s Susie Essman through the Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood. Not only was it an amazing opportunity, but I got a chance to meet an actor from one of my favorite TV Shows.
